I am growing out my dwarf red coral platy fry in a well planted 5 g tank. Dense planting was a major mistake. Now that the fry are young juveniles I wanted to net them, bag them and give to my LFS. Netting these little guys was tough. They are tank survivors and are extremely wary and skittish. So I placed an 8 pounce clear plastic cup into the bottom of the tank and added some food to the cup. About 10 juveniles entered the cup. I then placed a net over the opening of the cup and captured all 10 of the little guys. Problem solved.
