Gone fish hunting...

I went fish hunting today to look for a few otos, but they didn't have any and the store employee had never even heard of them.

Anyways, I had to stop by the betta display and I ended up walking out with two males and a female. One is a very vibrant orange veiltail, he looks a lot like coconutman39's new betta from AquaBid. The other male is a steel blue combtail. And lastly, the female is a gray with red finnage crowntail. I was about the bring home six new bettas, but I knew my family wouldn't approve! I decided not to get the two halfmoons I saw, they were both just a red and a blue and I thought these ones were much prettier even though they aren't as uncommon as a halfmoon is.

maybe just get a 10 gallon tank and a mini bio wheel and a couple dividers...then you could probably have 3 bettas very comfortably for about the same price...

I don't have a problem with having extra tanks, and I really make dividers or find any easily.

ive seen tons of steel blue combtails lately..

i got one like 2 months ago.. first one i ever saw at a crappy store, now i see them everywhere i go!!

MrMup - I didn't make a bad choice or anything going with the steel blue and the orange, they're not common around here and I can get a halfmoon any time from that store if I really wanted one. I already have a halfmoon anyways.
