Goldies and Ick

Following on from my topic in the emergencies forum.

Earlier this week i found my two fan tails lying on the bottom of the tank with there fins looking like they had rolled in white powder. i went to the lfs and got intrepet white spot plus med. treated the tank in the night and today my goldies are happy as larry. No more white spots, still going to give them the final dose tomorrow and then do a huge water change 4 days after the dose. But i cant believe how well the med worked it was literally instant.

i am so chuffed except for the fact my gravel is stained blue from the meds

I'm really pleased the meds worked really fast for you. a lot of the time though white spot is hard to shift and can lead to secondary infections and then kill the fish at worst.
good to see yours make a full recovery.
