Hi I am new to the forums and would like to say hello to everyone, I have been keeping goldfish for over 30 years (since I was a child ) I now have 2 children of my own who like me 'their mum' love goldfish, I prefer to keep them in a tank as you can see them better and they are fun and relaxing to watch, I did have the fish in a 48x12x15 tank but my husband has just bought me a 150x50x70 tank so there is loads of room to swim as you most likely know goldfish grow and grow, Thank you Inchworm for the lovely welcome..

Hello goldene and welcome to the forum.

Why not start a thread in the newbie section and let everyone know you are here? IMHO, we need more people on this forum who are knowlegable and experienced with goldfish, especially ones kept in tanks. There are many people, especially young folks, who could benefit from your advice.

I, for one, would like to see more goldfish activity on this forum.

which type, there are quite a few different ones Iv since found out, I think mine is a bornio loach.
