goldfish gone white.

hi everyone can you help me. my goldfish has lost all colour and gone white.

do you have any stats regarding the water quality, ie ammonia,ph,nitrate and nitrite.
has it happened really suddenly or gradually over a few weeks.
fish food can alter colour as can the levels of light. what are you feeding it.

whats the set up you have for it and what colour was your fish before it went white?

any chance of a pic too?

Can't send a picture sorry i'm posting this for a very distressed friend, who doesn't have internet access.

The fish was Orange before it turned White & it went White very quickly. My friend hasn't changed the food at all they get flakes.

Only the 1 goldfish has turned white.

All the levels are fine & at a normal level. Light in the tank, is natural light for most of the day then once curtains are closed the tank light is on for 6 hours or so.

nothing to worry about! Goldfish change colors quite alot, it is normal for them.

mine just changed from orange to white as well. and one has changed three times, grey silver-urine and black-orange with white fins- all orange, no white.

i would tend to say that goldfish do change colour as they grow but keep an eye on it for any other symptoms and hopefully it is just a colour change.

Nothing to worry about, I had a goldfish that was half orange and then turned white and lived a few more years.
