LFS THEY CAME FROM SOLD AS GOLDEN SHARKS, LOOK LIKE A RIVER FISH - ROACH BUT LONG AND THIN WITH POINTED DORSAL FIN,
NOT LIKE A SILVER SHARK

LOOKS SLIGHTLY SIMILAR TO ALBINO RAINBOW BUT GOLD COLOUR DARK LATERAL LINE AND ORANGE FINS AND TAIL CLEAR DORSAL 4 BARBS

if so they're chinese algae eaters. They're fine when they're small and will eat algae, but as they get bigger they'll eat less and less of it and will become very very aggressive.

is it a pale barb Hypsibarbus wetmorei by any chance?
sometimes called a diamond shark, so gold/golden shark is not altogether a sretch of the imagination

yaeh i know!! lol just saying ist about 5" long 1 " deep gold colour - and scales with a dark lateral line and orange fins
but a clear dorsal fin

To be honest i have no idea, never come across them. The web page say's there shoaling so i assume there not but who know's.

Could those cross breed with a silver shark?? My silver shark has bright orange fins and looks quite a bit like one of those. Sorry if this is irrelevent
