How big do golden puffers get and how agro are they

If by Golden puffers you mean Auriglobus modestus (so many common names for each puffer) they can grow to about 11.5 cm and are reported to be nasty fin nippers. The 2 I have are good with their tankmates so far, but I have noticed that they start to get aggressive when they are hungry, just before feeding time they start to chase everyone else around, as well as each other. I can't find any signs of actual nipping yet, and they settle down once the food is introduced, but I am keeping a close eye on them in case they have to be relocated.

PufferPack,
Those 3 puffers you have in your pics there, I see the far right one is a dwarf, what are the other 2?

Both the pics on the ends are Female Dwarfs "Fatty Bigeye" and "No. 4" on the left and "XP" on the right ... the one in the middle is "Hunter" one of my South American's (Colomesus asellus) that loves to hunt for guppy fry and scarf them down (hence the fat belly  )
If you wish to see some of the various shades the little gaffers go through daily click on the link in my Sig. I have quite a few Puffers pics in my galleries :D They can range from Gold thru all the Greens, to almost Black sometimes, depending on their mood at the time.

The ones i am thinking of look kinda like dwarfs my lfs has them and i was interested in buying them

Odds are they are Dwarfs that have been labled as Golden. I have seen Dwarfs labled as Pea puffers, Dwarf Gold puffers, Dwarf green puffers, Green/Gold puffers, and Miniture puffers. Who knows what other names they get saddled with.

Does this girl look like them?
