richard

14"... But they are slow growers...

ours is currently about 6" - we've had him since he was about 2" so he's grown about 4" in 2 years ;)

are those the golden albino pleco`s?

they are a sort of "tan" colour

I have 1 in my 125 gal. IMO one of the best looking plecs around and they do grow very slowly.

They have a huge one at wilwoods, its at least a foot long, was so tempted to buy it when i was there a few weeks back but its really expensive!

Yes They do appear very expensive, I got mine just under two weeks ago, He/ She is 9 inches, so only 5 more inches to grow until full size.

The one at wildwoods is simply stunning.....I wish we could have him but He needs a huge tank and mines not big enough especially considering the motley crue that live in there now :D

would you be able to put one of those in with an oscar and a parrot fish??

My girl friend has falen in love with one and is desperate to pop it in but i`m not sure if the tank mates would like it

Mines in with an Oscar but he's around 8" and the Oscar is only 4" at the minute. He's big enough to take care of himself when the Oscar is full grown. He can be an aggressive little so-and-so, even my 12" sailfin keeps out of his way.
