Hi, I have a group of these fish (labelled as dwarf golden pencilfish, which I am doubting now!) in a heavily planted tank. As it's a planted tank, I am wanting to upgrade the flow, but I have read on fishbase that they come from areas of low current. What I would like to know will they be ok or could it cause them problems such as exhaustion?
Thanks for reading this :good:

Even with the extra flow in my tank there are dead spots that are low current and this is where i see my fish rest. plant shelter will help break the flow also if you can get a up angle on the outlet the flow will be less forceful.

Well, they do seem to be ok at the moment, although they aren't in the quiter area as I thought they'd be, they are all battling their way through the full flow! Your filter is doing a fabulous job!

Good to know its doing its job. least you can take down the other filter to fix it.

any picks of you tank. might help to tell you where you could place the outlets. to leave a few sheltered areas.
