Golden Nugget Plec

I have just got a golden nugget plec. it is only about 2 inches in size. it is a stunning looking fish could someone please tell me the average size theses get to. i have a 300lt or 60 gallon tank. many thx

Just keep in mind that there are several other "GN" species. For example, http/www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/speci...?species_id=154 But I think the L18 is the most common. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I think it's an L18.

it is a L18 its hard to get a pic as i have loads of ocean rock in my tank and he is always hiding. but yeah i am 99% sure he is a L18. They are stunning. i have a bronze plec also which is about the same size and they seem to be friendly towards each other. where one goes the other is soon to follow.

The link posted above recons 14", over a foot long... I always thought 6" for L18, or 8" for L81's that look very similar... My L18 stopped growing at 6" in a 335l tank. He then started to latch to my Discus, so I had to get rid

Don't forget that all GN's are Byransistrus and need mainly a meat based diet
