Hello everyone, I have a Golden Loach - called Sticky, I had him and a natural around 6 months ago, and they were great, a bit aggressive occasionally. The natural died 3 months ago, I think the tank went very acidic when I was on holiday.
Anyway, Sticky, has developed a kind of humped back, and when he's hanging on the glass there is a distinct kink in his body, he also swims in a very strange way, he kinda flicks himself round the tank, its as if he's paralysed from the dorsal fin back?? He feeds, poo's, gets about and doesn't seem to be bothered. But I'm worried if something has happened to make him this way, and if its disease borne or something else?
If any of you knowledgeable members know, or have seen it, what is going on? And more importantly, is he suffering? I would appreciate your thoughts and advice greatly.
Thank you in advance, Timbo.
