Golden nuggets are my favourite catfish of all time - unfortunately mine died today

They're excellent to keep, you would be best to get bogwood for it to rasp on and little hidy holes.

They LOVE bloodworm and ADORE algae tablets.

I gotta get another!

Boxman we like them as well. Our little guy is still getting used to his other tankmates and the nooks and crannys to hide in, but he already has a foot long piece of bogwood.

Gold nuggets eat pretty much anything!
Mine eats earthworms, smelt, and shrimp, as well as what everyone else has said that theirs has eaten!

In order for Baryancistrus (including gold nuggets) to grow, they need quite a bit of greenery in their diet as well. Cucumber, zucchini, frozen peas etc should be offered, along with the meaty foods.

Mine eats cucumber, algae wafers, mussels, bloodworm and any flake the other fish miss... Won't touch pellets though.
