Gold nugget pleco is somewhat pale

Anyone have any experience with gold nugget plecos getting pale due to a lack of aquarium lighting for a few days?

They normally only go pale when unhealthy/bad diet/sick/stressed. I had my L018 in an unlit tank for 4 weeks with no colour change.

Try checking his water sometimes they go pale when thier ph isnt right.
