Gold Nugget & Pictus Cat

I recently had to rehome my fish and I have started over with a new tank at my new place. Now that I am better at keeping fish alive I wanted to go back to having at least one of the more rare plecs. I was thinking about putting a Gold Nugget on my 60 gallon tank, but wanted to know if it would be fine with a few pictus cats. I am worried that the pictus cats would not leave any of the food for the GN. Has anyone done this. My other thought would be a king tiger plec, L066 if I remember correctly.

Any thoughts?

Both the GN and the 66 would be fine within that size tank, the GN may get a little territorial but tbh the only sure fire way of saying it will work is try.

My friend was having some trouble with his GN and his 3 upside down catfish. The GN was getting quite agro towards the cats, so he got rid of the cats.

But each fish is different so i would say give it a try

well, considering Denver, CO sucks for finding anything but the regular species it seems I may not even get a chance at a GN pleco. If i buy one for 30 and it costs 35 to ship i would say that fish just became a $65 fish. I am going to keep looking but so far outside of the common plec and bushynose plec there is not too much out there.
