Hello,
first post in this forum from me....
i brought a L081 gold nugget pleco approximately 10days ago and I've not actually seen the fish eat anything in this time, I've tried regular flakes, frozen bloodworm (defrosted) two different types of algae wafers and nothing is working.
At first I thought he was showing signs of ich but now he's pale/ white all over.
my current tank parameters are
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 10-20 (w/c due tomorrow)
Total hardness 8
carbonate hardness 12
PH ~7.6
tank is a 53gallon been set up for 9.5months, running a biomaster thermo 600, feed usually every other day on flakes/ wafers and a small pinch of flakes in-between, bloodworms usually weekly day before a water change.
Still a newbie to the hobby so play nice please
forgot to add the darker fish photo was taken on the 28/12/2020 and the lighter one was today 02/01/2021
