I don't know what this is, but one of my platies has a slightly white patch of scales on his side. I don't know if it has always been like that or if I just noticed it - I only got him a few weeks ago. It's definitely not a growth of any sort, just a discolouration. But mine seems fine too - I will let you know if it spreads or if there are any developments!
yah, it's weird but it's not a spot on my mollie he is covered i don't think he was always like that, it seems like his scales are coming off like dry skin peeling i have no idea what it is but i'll keep you updated as well
