Hiya,
Mine live in a 60 gallon tank with a breeding group of L144s (7) + corries and lots of hiding places and plants and they are fine.I did spot a tiny one few months ago havent seen it since lol.These are great little bristlenoses there colours are great when they are next to L144s.I will try and get a pic when there are together eating a courgette.

would they be ok to live in a 90liter tank with guppies platys and mollies

Yeah, they should be fine as mnimum tank size is 15 gallon.

My lfs sell them for £28 so they are expensive.

I'm looking at getting a pair once my fishless cycling is complete although I think you have to wait for the tank to mature a bit before adding them?

Do the ones at your lfs have black skin with big blobs of circles like a golden nugget plec.
