I have just bought 6 Gold BN's. 5 are about 2 inches and 1 is about 2cms, its so tiny.

are they golden BN's or albinos?

Golden BN's (L144's) are quite "rare" they have black eyes and a gold body.
Albinos have pink eyes and fall under the same species as common brown ones (Ancistrus sp3.)

If they are infact Goldens - Where did you get them? I might have to talk to the Mrs

lol, if u have 2 males, one will stop growing and almost make himself not grow bristles to show hs a male. as they will fight if theres more than 1 male in the tank. would love to see some piccys!

Well they are gold in colour, but have red eyes, however they are not like the albinos I saw in my lfs at the weekend. I got these ones from a breeder.


When they have matured and I know whats what and whos who, I will rehome them if I see a problem.

Well, in bristlenoses theres only even albino there not "white" they are a golden colour. do they look like this?
