Gold Barbs-Will they be safe with Opalines?

I have a planted 29g tank that is well established, and I am wondering about gold barbs.
Current stocking

2 Opalines
3 Black Phantom Tetras
3 Serpae Tetras
2 Corys

I am pretty sure I am not overstocked, and I am wondering if Gold barbs will be threatend or a threat to any of these guys. I have heard they are perhaps the most peaceful barb.

Gold barbs should have no problems with the other fish you have listed....5-6 of them would be great. There hardy and not as sensitive as some of the larger barbs making them easy to care for, and as you mentioned very peaceful.

Gold Barbs are pretty harmeless. Serpaes, are not. You will probably have more trouble with them. Both of the tetra species you have should be in larger groups really. Ideally 6 or more. Sorting that out, you don't really ave room for a group of what are, after all, quite big barbs.
