Just bought a coralife 48" Aqualight deluxe- Double linear strip. (4X65 Watt bulbs)

Anyways trying to get into corals. The guy I bought these lights from told me to stick with soft corals because I dont have enough lighting for hard corals. Is this true?

I have 17 pounds of LR/Shrooms. Do I need more? I would like more

Could anyone recomend me coarls to buy? Hardy pretty corals.

What size is your tank and what kind of water flow do you have.

Are the lights T5 or T8?

Good easy corals are generally mushrooms, finger leathers, xenia, greenstar polyps and zoa's.
