This Friday I'm leaving for Palm Springs and won't be back until Monday afternoon/evening. Will Yuki be ok if he doesn't get fed or should I have my girlfriend feed him? She'll be stopping by to feed and play with my cats and I've asked her to turn on my A/C should my tanks start to get warm. I don't know if Yuki will be ok going with getting a meal Friday morning and not again until Monday or if I should tell my girlfriend to feed him?

He might be a little torked off at you for leaving him home without any attention, but he'll be perfectly fine without eating while you're gone :)

While he should be fine so long as you feed him Friday morning and as soon as he gets home on sunday, I don't see why you couldn't ask your girl friend to toss him a few pellets while you're away. I have left my bettas for a couple of days before, and usually they're find, but I had one bad problem where my female got, I don't know, I guess gassy from the irregular eating schedule? She was bobbing like a cork, terribly constipated, and generally not a very happy camper. It was all cleared up with a bit of frozen pea, but it was still uneeded stress.

Have fun on your trip ^^

If it's needed I'll ask her to feed Yuki. But it seems when it comes to pet sitting the more you ask a person to do the more chance there is for things to go wrong. Not that I don't trust her, because I do. I just figure the less she has to worry about the better.
