Going Away For 8 Days

I'm going away tomorrow for 8 days. I'm not too concerned about leaving my danios and cherry and amano shrimp for that length of time, but i do have some danio fry that are only 2 weeks old, will they also be ok for that length of time unfed? I have someone close by who could come in but it'd be easier not to have to ask them!

i don't have one, and they're still on liquid food.

If they are still on liquid food you have no alternative but to use a (well trained) friend to feed regularly. I've used feeding blocks successfully though I now some people hate them but not with such tiny fry

If asking an unexperienced friend, perhaps portion out each day's food in a "medicine box" so they don't overfeed (or much more rarely, underfeed).

thanks everyone.

he's a fishkeeper too, i've just asked him to pop over maybe twice in the week to feed them. should be fine, they're big enough to go onto BBS now anyway so fingers crossed.
