Godlfish From Tank To Pond

Hi

At work we have a goldfish tank .I need to move on eof the fish out as he is getting too big
Not sure what sort he is, a speckldy, grey blue with a lovely long tale.
A rep very kindly gave him to us when she saw we had a tank(um) and now he really needs to go.
As I am fished out at home and noone here is forthcoming. I was wondering if he would be ok to go into a garden pond

he will be ok in a graden pond, but don't do it just yet.
the temp difference between an indoor tank and outdooor pond
is still quite large atm.

If you can wait untill it warms up a bit outside, say around mid april,
that would be a better time to do it.

if however your needs are such that waiting that long will harm the fish
then you can do it now, preferably by lowereing the tanks water
nearer the pond water temp over the course of a few days.
