I just bought a freshwater goby, from the lfs and i have it in the tank with my swordtails and rams. I found out it is a stigmatogobius sadanundio and how do i keep this fish?? the water conditions, and what part of the tank do they live in, the tank setup??

I've never kept one, but iirc, they are brackish, grow to about 2-3" or so, and are pretty peaceful.

I have them in a freshwater setup, because i dont have a brackish setup, will it survive?? the LFS had it in freshwater also.

I think it would be something like a dragon goby or gsp. It would survive for sometime but eventually it would deteriorate and die. Even if it did survive though, would you want to keep a fish in conditions that aren't ideal? There's a difference between merely surviving and thriving.

It is a stigmatogobius sadanundio, and i will return it if it cant survive/thrive in freshwater. But i dont know if it can thrive in freshwater, any advice??
