Goby Issues

so my goby has had a whitish bump on his gill and fins for a week now ( i talked about it with the owner of fish doctors ( refuse to call it a lfs because its better then that ) and he told me to just medicate it wiht this mardiclyn stuff then he was looking alot better ( he was no longer rolling on his side or gaspiong and started to eat again) but the bump isnt gone any advice

sense falling ill he doesn't seem to like to be out of his cave ( he darts in the second i enter my room) which is well designed and deep and dark and slightly buried a picture will be hard with out netting him and i would rather not stress him
