hey there, thanks for taking interest n trying 2 help 
just that i bought a goby for the tropical tank and it was sold 2 me as a purple goby, its only 2" long if that and its silvery with a black line down the middle. it was only £5 aswell which was a brucey bonus, id just like 2 know which type of goby it is as i cant find much info on the net, i can find loads of different ones but not the one that i got, theyre all marine and mines tropical. wot do they eat? and how big do they get? oh yeah and do they eat all the fish? the guy said it wont but it was at peter barratts (garden centre) n im not sure if he knew wot he was on about as ive looked at all other goby sites and most of em r carnivores so does that mean that when the goby gets bigger then the neons dont have a chance? please let me know, has any1 had any experiences with em n if so cud u plz let me know. the goby is very entertaining 2 watch, its class but im sure it went for my plec but i cud be mistaken. thank you very much for ya help any info wud be appreciated
