Gobies.

Hey all,
My Mom and I were talking last and she was thinking I should add gobies to my 55 freshwater community planted tank. Since I don't know much about these fish, I have a few questions.
1. Are they Freshwater fish?
2. What do they eat, will they eat shrimp pellets and bottom fish tablets?
3. Are they ok to keep in a community?
4. My smallest fish would probably be guppies and tetras, Are they too small to be with gobies?
5. If they are suitable, what kinds do you reccomend?

There are hundreds of species of goby ranging from tiny ones that will be fine in a small fish to community to huge ones that will eat anything and everything.
