Gobies

I want to set up a tank for gobies which is 24x12x12 the PH is 7.5 and the water very hard. Which species should i get and in what number. Thanks

That depends, what type are you looking at? Brackish, Marine, or Fresh?

If you are thinking of doing a brackish setup, you have definatly got to get a violet goby, can't remember if you have enough room though, check the fish index

A 24''x12''x12'' is no where near enough for a Violet Goby

You could have ~15 Bumble Bee Gobies

While small they are awesome fish and very territorial so they chase each other around the tank but never cause injury.

A bit of a pain to feed since they won't take flake but mine take frozen blood worms, frozen glass worms, live brine and live black worms.

You could even have some halfbeaks since BBGs stay on the bottom of the tank.
