nice fish CFC. Was it hard to get them breeding?.

Suprisingly easy actually, a week of 5% water changes and heavy twice daily feedings of big live bloodworms and live rivershrimp and that was it.
Unfortunatley it seems the fry arent going to make it, when i got up this morning at least half were dead and the others arent loking to good either, its not that much of a shock as the first clutch with any fish is normally unsuccessful but it is disapointing .
With a bit of luck theyll spawn again soon and hopefully some of the fry will survive.

Hell, that's a shame CFC, it all seemed to be going so well, despite the inexperience of the parents. Hope you get some out of it. (At least you won't need to go traipsing all over the country to sell them!!!).

As of this morning there are no fry left, for reasons unknown they just died one after the other as is often the case with many fry. Never mind, im sure theyll spawn again and hopefully some will survive next time.
