picked up 3 of them yesterday im absolutely loving them they are sooo cool. in fact i love em so much that if i had the space id set up a nice big species tank just for a group of them.

but im curious how would you class this fish is it an oddball or just a normal run of the mill fish? i have seen black ghost clown etc but had never seen these until yesterday .

yes definitely an oddball Mark, They are a great community knife that do best in groups.
They are also fairly delicate and appreciate some dense areas of cover

ive got 3 at the moment with plenty of cover . 2 big mangrove roots various other wood and a big silk plant. plan is to add some floating cover and another 3 fish

They look really wierd in a good way of course:) Never seen them before, they cost you much ?

this is the best pic i can get at the moment as they are still shy and hanging around the back of the tank a lot

they're great. a total impulse buy by me which was naughty

They look better now they;rein my sons tank which is just full of wood and plants so they've got loads of cover

they feed well and your right they;re behaviour is great always darting about and chasing each other

lol mine were an impulse buy too i only went in for food and came out with these guys and a big smile on my face. the stuff my lfs has at the moment is just dangerous i could spend a fortune in there

oh, they have these in my lfs at £4.50 each, about 6". i was looking at them for ages, i think i like them more than black ghost knives. do they only get to about 14 inch? couldn't find a right lot of information on them!
are they as 'predatory' as the bgkf?
i was gonna buy a few but i don't think they would cope too well in my bigger tank, they looked delicate!
i never seen them before but looks like £4.50 is a bargain!
