So I've read about these fish... Correct me if I'm wrong -- they like soft, slightly acidic water, prefer to swim in groups of 3 or 4 and should be added to a well established tank, right? I heard they're a bit finickity so I thought I'd post this...

I was wondering -- what range of water conditions can they tolerate? Will they eat my shrimp?

I have got 5 glass cats in my community tank with angels, discus, other cat fish and they are fine, they do like to school and I have heard they don't like being on there own which is odd because the one before these guys lasted 2 yrs on his own.
The hardness is between 100 and 150 GH (I think it is GH)

I try and keep my tank at 7ph and they are fine, to be honest I could tell you any other info on my tank. I haven't cleaned it or tested it for a few months now

One of my guys feelers has split into a fork at the end.

I have found them to be hardy within reason. If something goes wrong with your tank then they shoudln't be the first to go

Hope this help you out
