Are glass catfish ok with other fish? I have put 2 together in a community tank and noticed that they tend to chase the other fish!
 I had a very beautiful fighter fish with lovely long fins but now i have noticed that they have been shredded.

around the same time that i put the glass catfish in (I think thats what they are?) i put in 2 mollies which i have now removed. Now i'm not sure if it was the mollies or the glass fish.

I have had some medical advise on how to treat my fighter so thanks for that but i would like some advise on the glass fish.

I will describe them to you

They are approx. 2" long, clear/see through with 2 long bits hanging from their face.

:dunno:

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Glasscats picking on other fish? Hum, I have never heard of that. Glasscats are peacefull fish. Try to watch the tank for a while and see what happens. I have a couple of Glasscats in with minnows (which are tiny compared to Glasscats) and they leave them alone.

If the glass cats (and that sounds like what you have) are picking on other fish that would indeed be unusual. Glass cats are usually very timid and peaceful fish. They spend a good amount of time "hanging out" under plants in the shade, and are most active around feeding time. I have never seen my glass cats pick on anyone, I have an angel that is slow moving with long fins and they leave him alone.
