Giant Danios

Unfortunately one of my giant danios popped its clogs recently which leaves me with 5 in my 4ft tank.The lfs has them in stock at the moment but they are barely half the size of the ones Ive got
Id like to replace the one I lost but wonder if the bigger ones would hassle the small replacement?
If there is a liklihood of this would geting 2 or 3 smaller ones be an option?

smaller GDs will be ok; the larger ones will view them as children and look out for them
(provided they can't fit into the bigger ones mouths that is)
