Giant African Land Snails

Hey all,
I've got two African land snails for while I'm at uni. My boyfriend is looking after them for me at the moment though.

Their container is now getting too small for them and we need to get them something bigger that won't cost too much.
Does anyone know what a suitable container would be for them? Like material wise is glass or plastic best? It's just so we can get an idea on what to look for that can do them well long term.

I have a friend who owns an African land snail, I don't know anything about them but he keeps his in a big fish tank (obviously without the water lol) he seems pretty knowledgable about them. Hope I helped! And again I'm no expert so I'd get a second opinion.

Thanks . At least I know they can be kept in fish tanks! Assuming he makes sure there are no big gaps in the lid lol
