Ghosts Killing Cherries?

has anyone had a problem with ghost shrimp killing cherry shrimp? i read in another forum they will kill the cherries. i have 5 ghosts to 1 cherry. should i remove the ghosts??

If you have ghosts killing cherries, then they aren't ghosts.

I've heard a few accounts of ghosts catching baby shrimp, but that's not a problem for you if it is true, as you only have one.

Macrobrachium lanchesteri is often sold as glass/ghost shrimp in germany and sometimes in the US, so it could well be that you have these and not Palaemonetes species that are usually sold in the UK and US as ghost/glass shrimp. If this is the case then this will be why you are getting some predation of cherry shrimp, as most macros are fairly predatory of smaller animals.
