Ghost Shrimp is MIA....

My ghost shrimp is gone! They are so hard to find around here. Who is the culprit that had a cocktail?

Hmm, did he jump out? I always find dried up prawn and ghost shrimp around my midas' tank and my hex. Apparently they abandon ship when somebody is in hot pursuit.

If I have to guess...I'll say the minnow but I really know nothing about their behavior.I guess if they're hungry enough they'd go after a shrimp
2nd possibility is that the ghost shrimp died and the oto ate it's corpse,seems like you'd find shell remnants if that was the case. Either way....do a water change, dead shrimp cause outrageously high ammonia spikes.

You can delete this post. He took a great leap of faith. I found him dried as if he belongs in a Hikari block. Do you think I can feed him to Tugboat, my large betta?

I wouldn't suggest it. It's been dead for a while and it's not the best thing to do.
