Hello Everyone
I'm looking for a bit of help from people who would know more than me about what is wrong with one of my Ghost fish, and maybe my pond in general
I've got a, I'm guessing, 40,000 litre outdoor pond with two big pumps on it and about a dozen large fish.
My smallest fish, a goldfish, I noticed had some lumps on him, which I believe is Lymphocystis, so I removed him from the pond and am keeping him in a spare bathtub for now to see if it gets better. I've also noticed he's been upside down a lot recently, I tried cleaning out the water and putting in some peas for him to eat but he's not ate them
Today one of my Ghostfish is hanging around in the shallow part of the pond, just below the surface, they've all been staying deep since it got cold, so I thought this was a bit strange. I had a look at him and it looks like there might be something wrong with his skin, but I'm not sure what it is, can anyone help me identify this?
With my Goldfish having one condition and possible my ghostfish having another, can anyone think of what might be wrong with my pond? When the Goldfish started looking sick I pumped out about half the water, used a pond vac to remove as much slime as I can reach, then refilled with cleanwater, I hoped this would improve the pond for them.
Any advice is much appreciated, thanks.
