Getting Started Bowl 45?

Hi

I have got an AquaEL Bowl 45, 45 litre globe type tank. The tank came complete with a filter and heater. Would this type of tank be suitable to keep marine fish and what else would i need to add to the tank to make it safe for the marine fish? would i have to cycle my tank like you do with freshwater tropical fish? I would really appreciate some advice on how to get started.

A bowl tank? Might be tough to get LR in there .

Most of your questions can be answered by reading the stickies atop this forum . To answer your cycling question, we marine keepers use Live Rock (LR) in our tanks to cycle them for us. LR is basically rocks that are picked up from the base of reefs and brought to our tanks. They allready have the bacteria on them.
