getting new lights

I'm getting new lights in the next couple days - retrofit 4 ft compact flourescent
my tank is 7 ft long. The guy said i'll have ALMOST 3 wpg.
Is it going to be necessary for me to have co2 injectors and if so how many.
I have noo clue whatsoever about co2, so i'm a little nervous if i need it.

depends on the number of plants you have in your tank

if its a 7ft tank and your going to go at around 3wpg, thats a lot of light with a lot of plants you will need c02, and with c02 comes fertilization hehe its a nasty chain of requirements
