Getting Fish

Hey everyone! I have a ten gallon aquarium that I have already cycled and all and now it is ready for fishies!!! i was going to get a trio og guppies and 5 neon tetras. I sthis too much? If not, what should I add 1st? Guppies or tetras? Thanks, Abby

three guppies and five neons seems fine. you can also add a few cories if you want. or maybe a couple of platies. most tetras prefer to be in larger numbers so you probably won't have room for any more

Guppies and cories is a nice combo. That way you get fish that live in all strata.

You can get guppies and tetras, although if you are getting the neons make sure that you have nice (fake or real) plants and maybe some wood or rocks. I say this because they are a schooling fish and if you just have nothing in the tank and a whole mess of fish, it isnt so productive or nice for you and the fish.
