getting a puppy

Hey!
We're getting a goldendoodle puppy the first week of June! He's so adorable, but anyway, my family is stuck on choosing a name. We want a short but very cute name. Please don't talk about how mutts are a waste of money...I happen to like them!

IMO, mutts aren't a waste of money, as long as you are rescuing them from a shelter. To buy a mutt from a 'breeder' is in poor taste... JMO of course

Pay no never mind to the "poor taste" comment perhaps a name from a favorite book or movie would do. Even a favorite place makes a nice name. Enjoy him.

Maybe you should keep him for a few weeks before you decide on a name so you can see his character. You might end up calling him Snuffles, and he turns out to be a Butch after a couple of weeks

UPDATE! We're now thinking of naming the pup Tucker. We're going down to Kentucky to get him and Tuck is in the word Kentucky, that's how we got that name. I really think Tucker is a cute name! I just can't wait to get him!

OOh tucker is cute - but if we;d got a boy dog i was going to call him DARCY

I just really liked the name

But we found our little girl in a rescue and couldnt say no to her - so TILLY it was

Another name we are now considering is Derby (like the Kentucky Derby). Tucker can kinda sound like a bad word.

when i got my poodle 4 years ago, his name was joey, then riley, and now is bentley! You'll probably change it quit a few times!

my doggy is called Bondu we rescued him from Cyprus where the countryside is called bondu - we figured thats probably where he was born poor little guy

I wanted to call him Keo or Carlsburg but fortunately my parent's common sense won through
