Hey everyone

My tank is 92ltr and is pictured below

I am giving my old fish to my gf and am planning on restocking

I am planning on restocking with the following fish

6 small cory's
1 BN
10 neon tetras
5 Ghost catfish (8cm max)

If possible i would like to put in a pair of GBR
My question is,
Will a male/female pair be ok with the other fish?
Will 2 males be OK?
or will 2 females be OK?

I would prefer a pair, but only if the male will be ok with other fish

Two males wouldn't go well, they are territorial fish and would fight. They are also pretty picky about parameters so just make sure you are committed to keeping on top of water changes and testing :) I could be wrong here but you might be better off upping the Ghost Catfish to 6 or 7, and then to keep stocking even drop the neons to 8. But wait till other members confirm/disagree with that first as I've never actually kept them :)

Thanks Robbo,
I spoke to someone when i posted a similar question in the "Tropical Discussions" thread and i am not going with the neons as the apparently only school when they feel defencless
I am thinking of the espei rasboras instead
I really do want a blue ram and i am willing to go with the commiting water condicions, but i also really want the ghost catfish as they look awesome, so i might go even numbers on them

One thing you may know, would 5-6 kuhli loaches go with 5-6 corys or would that be too much at the bottom?

that would make for a pretty hectic bottom haha,
the good thing about khulis is that they dont need to be in a shoal like corys, you could easily keep 2 or 3 with 6 corys :)

Awesome, sound like thats the way to go for the bottom :D

I would be against putting ghost cats in that size tank, they simply get too big, 6 cats ranging from 3-5 inches each will definitely throw you over.

Glass cats are very sensitive to their environment and they can easily get kinks in their spine if its too hot or nitrates are too high. Nitrates wont be an issue since the rams are similar in that regard but the temp would be high for the cats.

they are cool but they are best left out on this one
