German Blue Rams Behaviour Questions

Beautiful! Love your set-up! Those rocks, are they glued together or just wedged very well so they won't fall? 
 
I miss my rams, just love them, but sadly they just did not work out for me! Changed from a South American tank to South Asian and I have had not one problem since then. So jealous now though, I find GBR's absolutely gorgeous fish!

thanks a lot they are all balanced but as they weigh a bit none of them are going to move them in a hurry
i placed a new rock ontop of the biggun on the right so i will post pic tonight
thats a shame because as you say they are beautiful fish

Thanks for your kind words. He seems so lost in the tank now. Would u reccomend getting a couple girls and letting him choose a new partner?

Personally I would just get one female. In my experience once a pair is formed the others are only being chased away. I once did see a species tank (private breeder where I'd gotten my GBR's from) where there were a number of male and female GBR's living together, but I think these were only juveniles.

I'll check with lfs but see no reason why not. How long does it take to pair off?

I wouldn`t be surprised if he pairs off with the first female able to mate, but I could be wrong!

Watching my male today and the front of his top fin. Sorry don't know name. Has gone really black as well as his anal fins. Is there anything wrong with him
