I went down to the local fish store today (they get their shipments in every Thursday ) to bring home a pair of German Rams, but to my dismay, every single one was female.
A trek to another popular store brings about a bout of irony. They had a fresh stock of Bolivian Rams, with every one being Male.
Needless to say, I returned home empty handed and in a bad mood -.-'
But an idea struck me: Why not have a female German and Male Bolivian?
Does anyone have experience cross-breeding the two species?
With Germans and Bolivians being the only two species in the mikrogeophagus genus, it seems more than possible, but does anyone know of any problems that may arise, such as behavieral issues or territory issues?
