Gentle Danios

Hi

I've just bought 2 male guppys. Then i just read some posts about danios nipping guppy fins.

Id been led to believe danios were peaceful fish and would live with just about anything.

Theyre zebra danios and the guppys have yellow tail fins (dont know prpoer name).

Am i going to have problems?

most likely yes.
IME Zebra danios and guppies don't mix that well, if at all.

I have 4 Female, and 2 Male Zebra Danios, and 5 Female, and 2 male guppies, they all get along just fine !! No nipping at all

Are they less likely to get bothered by the danios once i put some female guppies in and theres more of them?

no. i think they go after the tails, so i doubt female would make a difference. if they are also colorful they may also get nipped at by the danios.
