Hi Guys,

I have had my tank running for about a year now and had fairly good success growing plants, they grew so much that I would constantly have to prune them, one day I pruned them about 2 cm's from the substrate and they never grew back :( I also installed a DIY Co2 Canister but found it do nothing whatsoever.

So I put in some new plants about two weeks ago and continued to fert with Seachem Flourish (1 cap a week) and begun ferting 1 cap of Seachem Flourish Excel daily as the bottle said. Now within the two weeks I can honestly say that nothing seems to have taken off at all. I have baby tears, pongol and java lace fern.
If anything little bits of the Lace Fern comes off, although of all three it looks like it has grown the most, i understand that pongol grows slowly but i expected the Baby Tears to have grown a bit faster

Am I dosing correctly? My Lighting is T5 1400K 13 Watt White X 2, it is 37 US Gallons and the Temperature is 26 Degrees.

Thanks in advance.

Well 26W of t5 isnt a lot of light so I would expect growth to be slow. So that's not to say that you need more light, it just means you have to expect growth to be slow.

Plant up atleast 50%.
Perform 10% water change per week.
Dose trace elements (micro nutrients) once every 2 weeks.
And just wait :)

Did you mean 1400K? Must look very "warm".
