Hi everyone ... am having a few problems with my tank ...

All water parameters are constant and seem to be running fine - all fish are feeding well - tank looking fantastic but I am losing fish !!!

I have lost a fish a week over the last three weeks. The fish that have expired have become incredibly thin, although food is there they will not eat. I only feed every other day and once a week or fortnight I feed daphnia as a change.

I would say however that having been really watching the other residents they all have the odd flick at the gravel with their bodies, although even with a magnifying glass none of them show any signs of ich .....

Does anyone have any ideas ??? I hate seeing my little friends die .....

Hmm... it's possible that they have an internal problem - usually that can be a cause for the emaciation. Maybe parasites? Depending on the fish and any more symptoms, maybe you should treat the tank for that. :dunno: Not to experienced w/ the specifics - someone else should be able to help you more there.

I'll do a water change as soon as I see something strange going on in the tank. If the water quality is improved, they may hav a stronger immune system.

tippy i'm sure i put a long reply in here and also there was other good advice from members

have you started multiple threads?

if so you will maybe miss some good advice as it wont all get cross posted

look for your orginal post and then reply this will bring it to the top of the forum list again rather than reposting
or perhaps it was just a mistake with an itchy send button

all the best
andrew
