HI THERE,
I HAVE HAD LOADS OF PROBLEMS OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS WITH MY FISH DYING ALL THE TIME.
I'M KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED CAUSE AT THE MOMENT I'VE HAD EM THREE WEEKS AND THEY ARE STILL HAPPY AND HEALTHY.
MY QUESTION IS: WHEN YOU DO THE 20% WATER CHANGE EVERY TWO WEEKS HOW MUCH AQUA SAFE DO I PUT IN THE TANK?
I KNOW I MIGHT SOUND A BIT THICK BUT I AM NOW PARANOID ABOUT MY FISH DYING AND DON'T WANT TO DO ANYTHING WRONG!!!!
THANKS VERY MUCH

How big a water change is 20%? 1 bucket, 3 buckets, 10?
I dont really measure it out, what I do is fill a cap full and then for each bucket going back in I add a few drops from the cap. One capfull does around 5 bucket changes.
Dunno if that helped or not -_-

SORRY I WASN'T AT ALL SPECIFIC THERE WAS I!!!
ITS TWO BUCKETFULS.
AM I RIGHT IN CHANGING THAT AMOUNT AND THAT OFTEN? CAUSE I GET SOME PEOPLE WHO SAY YES AND THEN OTHERS DON'T.

all people definitely say turn off the caps-lock.

a 20% change every 2 weeks will go a long way towards keeping your fish happy and healthy. a 10% change every week would be even better, but its not essential. frequent water changes help keep your water extra clean which in turn helps keep your fish extra healthy. its a rare fish indeed that likes dirty water.
