I have a golden gecko and a leopard gecko in a 20 gallon tank. They are about the same size geckos. Sometime they rest their heads on each other. I have had the leopard gecko in the tank 4 a few years and the golden gecko in there for about a month. There is no competition for food but should I separate them???

Golden geckos are tropical rainforest and leopard are desert geckos.... how can you take care of their needs in the same tank? one likes the humidity one doesn't... one likes sand and one likes bark... one likes cactus looking plants and one likes leafy plants... one sticks to the glass and one doesnt.... how do you take care of their needs?

I had kept and bred Leopard geckos for a few years. I have not had any lizards for around 4 years now. I was not sure what the golden gecko was, so I did a search. It sounds like Auratus has it right. They perfer 2 different types of conditions.
