the little brave boy who was rescued Saturday with shredded-cheese fins and Ich succumbed to a secondary fungus infection while i was at school. i never 'got to know' him, but he was still one of the Betta Boyz and he was a good one at that. RIP Lil Phoenix, i hope there's no Ich where you're going.on the same note, i want to nuke his tank to move King. he's scaring the beejeebers outta me by propping himself on his plant; HEAD OUT OF THE WATER. i just keep thinking 'He's a fish!' and panicking, and i'm afraid he might leap out the tiny hole there. plus the filter is driving me bonky, the tank is shaped funny, and urgh! so, how would i go about nuking it? i can't use bleach, so far i've given it a diluted vinegar bath and it's sitting and waiting for King to move in. if it's any help there's gravel, a 'soft plastic' plant (not the stiff kind, more bendy, i haven't had problems with these yet) and a shell. should anything be given special treatment? like the shell?
